UPDATE: Summit City Motorsports Club, LLC has VOLUNTARILY WITHDRAWN their petition for the special use… WE DID IT! Thanks to everyone for your support and for saving our wonderful rural lifestyle. We sincerely hope that SCMC can find a new location for their track that doesn’t impact local property values and quality of life for their future neighbors.
We, as residents of a rural community, find ourselves at the verge of a significant lifestyle alteration due to the potential development of a motorsports racetrack nearby.
Our country lifestyle is under attack by a group of “entrepreneurs” who want to build a motorsports playground in our back yards and destroy our rural settings. They plan on flying in rich friends so they can drive exotic cars at excessive speeds and then fly back home. This is not a proper use of our precious farmland, which is under attack across the United States from green energy projects and foreign ownership.
Parts of Allen County deserve to retain its rural character. By signing the petition, you help raise your voice against the encroachment of disruptive development and protect our rural surroundings from unwanted change. Let’s keep it rural.
